Jewell Geneva Golson

COLLEGE - Jewell Geneva Golson, 86, of Coolidge, AZ passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Jewell was born July 15, 1929 in Geary, Oklahoma to Charlie and Connie Bedford. In 1949 she married Neil Golson, the love of her life. They were married 66 years on June 9, 2015. She was a housewife that enjoyed her children and keeping Neil in line at the farm.

In earlier years she enjoyed spending time with the family at the lake, bowling on leagues with the ladies and traveling on the motorcycle with Neil and friends.

She is survived by daughter Juanita Morrow, Coolidge; son Clayton (Janet), Coolidge; brothers, Jay Smouse (Alma), Coolidge and Dewey Smouse (Pat), Mancos, Colorado; grandchildren, Brent Morrow (Dowana), Flagstaff, Matthew Morrow (Jeannine), Florence, Aaron Golson, Coolidge, Michael Golson, Casa Grande, Devan Golson, Coolidge, Clayton Taylor, Prescott, and Carlyn Taylor, Casa Grande; great-grandchildren, Kelci Morrow, Coolidge, Bryce Morrow, Florence, Brett Morrow, Joshua Morrow and Nicholas Morrow, Flagstaff.

Jewell was preceded in death by Neil on July 3, 2015.

Services will be held at Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel, 541 W. Coolidge Ave., Coolidge, Arizona on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Coolidge Cemetery.
