Jim "Jetway" Knight

CASA GRANDE - Jim "Jetway" Knight, 79, of Casa Grande died on April 19, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Mr. Knight was born on Jan. 10, 1937, in Reno, Nevada. He worked 30 years in the mining industry in the Globe-Miami area and another 15 years in union carpentry in Arizona. He was a country music fan and loved to dance and tell stories. The love of his life was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Janet; a son, Larry Knight of Germany; a daughter, Jeanette Johnson of Coolidge; four stepdaughters, Chris Jackson of Casa Grande, Susie Kallmes of Lynnwood, Washington, Sherelene Aaron of Everett, Washington, and Cassy Yeo of Florence; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Knight.

No service is planned. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Compassus.
