COOLIDGE - Jim Whipple, 67, a longtime Coolidge educator, died peacefully at home on Feb. 2, 2009.
The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Episcopal Church.
Mr. Whipple was born in Independence, Mo. He was a teacher, coach, athletic director and mentor at Coolidge High School for 31 years, allowing him to touch many lives in the community.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carole; a son, Jeff Whipple; a daughter, Chanda Whipple; three grandchildren; and special friend, Andrea Cardona.
