Jimmie Lee Williams

June 22, 1934 — May 6, 2022

Jimmie Lee Williams, 87, of Casa Grande died on May 6, 2022.

Mr. Williams was born on June 22, 1934, in Longview, Texas, to Willie Lee Williams and Sarah Jones-Williams.
He was a young man when he came to Arizona, and he stayed with his auntie Jewel and uncle Speed. He enjoyed the outdoors, liked going fishing and planting in the garden — sunflowers were his favorite — and loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved riding his scooter alongside his great-grandson while he rode his bike.
He worked at John Wayne and Louis Johnson's Red River farm alongside his grandson Monta. He also worked on Paul and Paco Ollerton's farm for over 38 years until he retired.

He is survived by nine sons and daughters, Douglas, Ezila, Willie, Jimmy, Sarah, Beaver, Laydona, Cindy and Ocie B. Williams; two siblings, Lola Mae McClung and Luther Linn Williams; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and six siblings, Charles, Lois, Rossie Lee and Hazel Williams, Bonnie Gene Ervin and Bulah Mae London.
