CASA GRANDE — Jimmie Lee "Flinney" Williams, 58, a lifelong resident of Casa Grande, died on July 20, 2024, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.
Mr. Williams was born on Nov. 2, 1965, in Florence. He enjoyed cruising on his bike all over town. He loved the ladies and lent a hand to any women in need. He often relaxed on the porch with his pack of Natural Light listening to old-school tunes with his siblings.
His family would yell "Get on the good foot, Flinney!," which meant he was about to hit the dance moves. His nieces and nephews shared a special place in his heart, and they could get his last dime if they needed it. He was loved by the community, and his smile could light up a room.
Survivors include three sisters, Ezila Williams of Ahwatukee, Sarah and Cindy Williams of Casa Grande, and five brothers, Douglas Williams of Phoenix, Willie Williams of Portland, Oregon, Laydona Williams of Phoenix, Beaver and Ocie Williams of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Jimmie Lee Williams Sr.
Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and funeral at 11 on Saturday, Aug. 10, at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
J. Warren Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
