Jimmy Doyl Jones

CASA GRANDE - Jimmy Doyl Jones, 84, of Surprise died on March 10, 2020, at home.

Mr. Jones was born on Jan. 12, 1936, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, to Avery and Nancy (Burdine) Jones. He served in the Army from 1958 until 1962 and was a heavy equipment operator in construction.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in assigned callings over the years.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Hunsaker; two sons, Michael and Brian Jones; a sister, Jenny Markham; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred V., and eight siblings.

Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at the LDS Trekell Building, with service at 10. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
