Joan Evelyn Clark, 88, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 14, 2013, at home.
The celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
Mrs. Clark was born on Aug. 21, 1924, in Liverpool, England, and was a daughter of Frank and Olive Leeson. She was a registered nurse in the United Kingdom before retirement and moved to Arizona five years ago. She was a poet who wrote one book of poetry and three others. She was very active at the Dorothy Powell Senior Adult Center, loved animals and music and was an avid reader. She loved crafts, sewing and knitting, and was very creative. She was devoted to her family.
Survivors include two sons, David M. Clark of Casa Grande and Paul C. Clark of London, England; two daughters, Lucinda Clark of Llanrhystud, Wales, and Joanne Boucher Fuguay of Varina, N.C.; a sister, Dorothy Walster of Scotland; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Clark, and a son, Anthony Stewart.
