Joann Rosalie Pomering

COOLIDGE - JoAnn Rosalie Pomering, 56, of Coolidge died April 17, 2007 in Chandler.

The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. next Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel.

Mrs. Pomering was born July 15, 1950 in Rockford, Ill., to Roy and Betty (Phillips) Wendt. She moved to Arizona 11 years ago with her family. She was devoted to her family and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She loved Christmas, and her house was always the first on the block to be decorated. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time on the Internet. She was outgoing and made friends easily. She had a good sense of humor and always was optimistic.

Survivors include her husband, Jerold; a daughter, Berneita Vance of Coolidge; a son, Jerold Pomering Jr. of Florence; a sister, Diane Skinner of Strawberry; a brother, Wayne Wendt of Rockford; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Frank Oser, and two brothers, Steven and Mike Wendt.
