Joanne Faye Gilder

Joanne Faye Gilder, 52, of Casa Grande died on March 17, 2010 at home.
A time of remembrance will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Faith Family Church, 530 E. Queen Creek Road, between Arizona Avenue and McQueen Road in Chandler. Pastor Andy White will officiate.
Mrs. Gilder was born on Nov. 23, 1957 in Florence. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She was a woman of faith who loved the Lord and had a quick smile. She was caring, selfless and sweet and loved to laugh and sing. She never said no to helping anyone.
Survivors include her husband, Elmo Jr.; two sons, Elmo Gilder III of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kendall L. Gilder of Phoenix; her parents, Douglas Hersey of Sedona and Juanita F. Gall of Casa Grande; two brothers, Brian Hersey of Arizona City and Justin Gall of Casa Grande; two sisters, Karen Keaveny of Litchfield Park and Ellen Martinez of Casa Grande; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Leota Hersey, Mellie Grubbs and Roy Lancaster.
