Joe Madrid

Joe Madrid Sr., 71, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 12, 2013, at Hospice Family Care.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel. A scripture service will follow at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Madrid was born on Dec. 23, 1941, in Tucson and was the son of Ventura Madrid and Manuela Ramirez. He served in the National Guard and worked at Wal-Mart. He loved going to swap meets, taking rides with his wife, watching western movies and cooking shows, and having his family over for dinner. He had a great sense of humor. He also loved Sunday football and most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and the rest of his family.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lucy J.; a daughter, Sheila Estrada of Casa Grande; two sons, Christopher M. and Joe Madrid Jr. of Casa Grande; two sisters, Frances Marin and Victoria Madrid of Casa Grande; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ernestina Madrid.
