Joe "Pops" Munoz

Joe R. "Pops" Mu�oz Jr., 61, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 6, 2013, at Chandler Regional Medical Center, with his family at his side.
The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Mu�oz was born on May 1, 1951, in Fabens, Texas. He was a machinist in the aerospace industry. He was devoted to his family and his favorite pastime was being with his grandchildren. He loved cooking and his potato salad was well known. He always thought of others, called his friends Mijo and Mija and asked if they were OK. He always had a smile and made it a point to make people laugh. We would go to the downtown Food City several times a day for his Coke.
Survivors include four daughters, Alicia, Roxanne, Natalee and Triniti Mu�oz, all of Casa Grande; two sons, Joseph Aaron and Pedro Mu�oz of Casa Grande; four sisters, Yolanda Mu�oz and Susie Ruiz of Casa Grande, Janie Mollon of Phoenix and Patti McNiel of Chandler; a brother, Fernando Mu�oz of Morenci; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Luisa and Joe R. Mu�oz Sr.; a sister, Rosie Panero; and a brother, Danny Mu�oz.
