John Martin Montana

SAN LUCY VILLAGE - John Martin Montana, 48, died on Sept. 19, 2015, in Avondale.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. Friday at San Lucy Catholic Mission, with a wake following. Burial will be at 6 a.m. Saturday in Pioneer Cemetery.

Mr. Montana was born on Sept. 23, 1966, in Yuma. He was an auto detailer and loved his work. He also worked for Tohono O’odham Farming Authority. He was an Arizona Wildcats fan and liked to walk and stay active.

Survivors include a daughter, Christina Montana of Tucson, and three sisters, Wanda and Jana Montana of San Lucy and Elferna Montana of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and John Manuel Montana; three sisters, Shirley, Cindy and Elsie Montana, and a brother, Jerry Montana.
