John Murgia, 67, of blackwater, died June 27, 2022, at home. He was born October 5, 1954, in Sacaton, Arizona to Cecil Louis Murgia and Nadine Miguel. John was a football fan; his favorite teams were the Cardinals and Notre Dame. Cruising the backroads and spending time with his kids is what he loved most. He enjoyed listening to music, such as Ramon Ayala and oldies.
Survivors include, his wife, Iris Murgia of Blackwater, his children, Robert Gonzales Sr., of Casa Blanca, Rebecca Gonzales of Oklahoma, Tammy Gonzales of Coolidge, Christina Mills of Casa Grande, Cynthia Terry, Michael Terry and Tharol Brown of Sacaton, Vanessa Tobey of Queen Creek, Breanna Johnson of Blackwater, Joe, Angela, Tony, and Fernando Gonzales all of Coolidge; a sister, Mary Rascon of Coolidge, 35 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, two brothers, a son, two grandchildren, three nephews and a niece.
