John Poor

John Carl Poor, 73, of Casa Grande died on May 8, 2013, at Hospice of the Valley Coronado Home in Phoenix.
A private service was planned.
Mr. Poor was born on Oct. 27, 1939, in Wilton, Iowa, and was a son of William and Velma Poor. He was a carpenter for 50 years and enjoyed fishing, building things, music, sitting in the woods listening to sounds and watching "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Voice."
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Overturf of Moline, Ill., Sandi Randolph of Phoenix and Cyndy Essary of Mesa; a brother, Jerry Poor of Moscow; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean, a granddaughter, Jennifer Overturf, and two great-grandchildren, Marcus Waters and Kirk McConnell.
