COOLIDGE — John Edward Smith II, 43, of Coolidge died on Dec. 19, 2012, at Libby, Mont.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God in Coolidge. Interment will be in Valley Memorial Park.
Mr. Smith, also known as Towhead, was born on Feb. 17, 1969, in Florence. He graduated from Van Buren (Ark.) High School in 1987. He had been working for Stinger Welding and Fisher Industrial but also was an accomplished homebuilder and owned and operated a trucking company.
He was devoted to his family and touched many lives with his smile and a personality that would light up a room. He was a friend to many and had many friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Chelsea and Whitley Smith of Alma, Ark., and his parents, John "Duke" and Donna Smith of Coolidge. He was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip R. Smith, and his grandmothers, Annie M. Ashcraft and Mary L. Miller.
