ARIZONA CITY - J.R. "Johnnie" Kendrick, 61, of Arizona City died on Jan. 5, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.
The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Estrella Community Church, with Pastor Jaime Velarde officiating.
Mr. Kendrick was born on July 1, 1954, in Florence. He was a self-employed welder and enjoyed camping and fishing. He was always joking and making friends and family laugh, bringing a smile to anyone. Always the life of the party, he could brighten up any room. He touched the lives of everyone he met, but family was most important to him.
Survivors include his wife, Nelda Darlene; a daughter, Misty L. Thornhill of Eloy; his mother, Norma L. Kendrick of Coolidge; two sisters, Sharon L. Holmes and Wanda K. Reilly of Casa Grande; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, John G. Kendrick.
