Johnny Lee Betters

TUCSON - Johnny Lee Betters Jr., 37, of Tucson died on April 8, 2016.

Mr. Betters was born on Nov. 22, 1978, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was an automotive worker and enjoyed hanging out with his family, listening to music, eating, having a beer and joking around with everybody.

Survivors include his companion, Nova Boyer; four sons, Johnny C. Boyer, Javon, Monte and Jonovan Boyer-Betters, all of Tucson; two daughters, Monet Boyer-Betters of Tucson and Melanie Boyer of Flagstaff; his parents, Angela Huerta and Johnny L. Betters Sr. of Tucson; two brothers, Anthony and Steven Betters of Tucson; and two sisters, Victoria Betters and Yvette Sianez of Tucson. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Beverly Perez.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Life in Christ Community Church, 102 E. Palmdale St. in Tucson, with the service to follow. Burial will be in Tucson South Lawn Cemetery.
