COOLIDGE - Johnny Lewis Applegate, 54, of Coolidge died peacefully on July 18, 2016.
Mr. Applegate was born on June 30, 1962, in Bakersfield, California, to Billy and Marie Applegate. He was devoted to his family and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his faithful dog, "Kuato Applegate." He also liked to go fishing or camping whenever he had a chance. He was a heating, ventilating and air conditioning technician for 10 years before becoming ill.
Survivors include a daughter, Andrea S. Applegate of Coolidge; two stepdaughters, Mary Saiza of Florence and Amanda Brown of Santan; his parents, of Coolidge; and five brothers and sisters, Robert Applegate, Shirley Rodriquez and Sharon Applegate, all of Coolidge, Bill Applegate of Everett, Washington, and Lawrence Lewis of Coolidge. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Bison.
Visitation will begin at 5:30 a.m. Saturday at the Blackwater Multipurpose Building. The funeral will follow at 7:30. Burial will be in West Blackwater Cemetery.
