Johnny Richard Hodges

STANFIELD — Johnny Richard Hodges, 58, of Stanfield died on March 2, 2013, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
A scripture service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with Pastor Carlos Marin officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Hodges was born on Jan. 27, 1955, in Casa Grande. He worked for Four Winds Trucking and loved his job of driving trucks and traveling. He managed Vija Truck Stop for 14 years. He coached Little League baseball in Stanfield for several years and enjoyed landscaping and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 29 years, Minnie G.; two daughters, Kristi Brown of Oklahoma and Angela Apodaca of Tennessee; two sons, Richard Duke Hodges and James Richard Hodges of Stanfield; two sisters, Susan Whelchel of Casa Grande and Jeannie Noriz of Florida; two brothers, Randy and David Hodges of Casa Grande; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry J. Duke and Sylvia A. Rocha.
