FLORENCE — Johnny Lopez Trejo, 55, of Florence died on March 11, 2013, at home.
Mr. Trejo was born on April 17, 1957, in Phoenix. He formerly owned a landscaping business and also was a mechanic. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, four-wheeling and going to Box Canyon and Picacho Reservoir for Easter when it had water. He was active in the community and started a community garden in Florence that he helped with. He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He also enjoyed cooking out, singing and music in general. He was especially fond of '70s music. He enjoyed most sports, including boxing, football, baseball and professional wrestling and also watching the Syfy channel.
Survivors include his wife, Eloisa; three sons, Frank "Pancho" Trejo of San Tan Valley, Jesse Trejo and Patrick A. Granillo of Florence; his mother, Enriqueta Trejo of Florence; a brother, Frank Trejo of Florence; three sisters, Eva Trejo and Serena Quintanar of Casa Grande and Frances Frazier of Ajo; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Trejo; a brother, Francisco "Pinocchio" Trejo; and a sister, Rosie Baldwin.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
