Johnny Vega Mejia

CASA GRANDE - Johnny Vega Mejia, 53, of Casa Grande died peacefully on Aug. 25, 2017, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Mejia was born on Sept. 27, 1963, in Casa Grande to Johnny and Alice (Vega) Mejia. A funny, hardworking man who loved everyone, he enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his Harley and listening to Brenton Wood.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Dora; two daughters and a son, Priscilla and Dominique Mejia of Casa Grande and John Paul Mejia of Tempe; his parents, of Casa Grande; five brothers, Alex V., Daniel V. "Danny," Andy V., Stephen V., all of Casa Grande, and Jimmy V. Mejia of Texas; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Mejia, and a grandson, Silas Murillo.
Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 11. Funeral Mass celebrated at 11:30, followed by burial in Mountain View Cemetery and fellowship at St. Anthony's Community Center.
