COOLIDGE — Johnny Lee Yancey, 57, of Coolidge died on Nov. 19, 2012.
Mr. Yancey was born on April 28, 1955, in Austin, Texas. He was a field worker who enjoyed being outside and was a Christian man. He liked camping, especially at Big Wash, fishing, bonfires and listening to music, especially oldies. He had a candy apple red Cadillac that he loved and was cherished by his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Little Maggie Nunn of Tucson; a son, Johnny Jermaine Yancey of Tucson; six stepchildren, Katana, Melissa, Cassandra, Diondre, Leila and Ebony; three brothers, Roger D. Yancey Jr., Charles and Bruce Yancey, all of Austin; five sisters, Barbara, Betty, Connie, Vanessa and Patricia Yancey, all of Austin; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maggie and Roger D. Yancey Sr., and a sister, Kathy Yancey.
Burial will be Friday in Casa Grande Mountain View Cemetery.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
