LAVEEN — Johnson Blair Peters, 60, of Laveen died on March 21, 2011, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the District 6 Service Center. The funeral will be at 7 a.m. Saturday at Gila Crossing Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in Santa Cruz Village Cemetery.
Mr. Peters was born on Feb. 7, 1951, in Sacaton. He served in the Army and was a caregiver in the medical field.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel D.; a daughter, Sabrina Peters of Laveen; a son, Jason Peters of Laveen; his father, Theodore L. Peters of Laveen; four sisters, Corene Antone, Deborah and Norma Peters and Charlotte Whittaker, all of Laveen; a brother, Wesley Peters of Laveen; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margret Raphael.
