MARICOPA — Jonathan Edward Chavez, 17, of Maricopa died on Nov. 20, 2009 in Casa Blanca.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande, with the wake continuing at 8 p.m. at the Choyguha home. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Saturday in Upper Covered Wells Cemetery, with the Rev. Susan Manker-Closeale officiating.
Jonathan was born on Nov. 21, 1991 in Phoenix. He was a college student. He was much loved by his family and friends for his energy, humor and compassion.
Survivors include his parents, Beatrice M. Choyguha and Erasto Chavez Jr.; three brothers, Christopher, Jordan and Erasto Chavez III; three sisters, Denise Lewis, Jennifer Chavez and Bianca Schrader; two nephews; and a niece.
