Jose Carlos Cruz

ELOY - Jose Carlos Cruz, 30, of Eloy died on Nov. 20, 2018, in Buckeye.

Mr. Cruz was born on Aug. 7, 1988, in Florence to Juan and Lupita Estella (Hernandez) Cruz. He loved life and his family above all. His favorite thing to do was visit with his family, which he was the heart of. He was always willing to give help or advice and support them in anything they attempted. He loved sharing food, talks, advice, laughs, smiles, hugs and kisses.

He loved listening to his music and singing Bob Marley songs with his dad, especially "Redemption Song." He had a great sense of humor and kept his family laughing. He stayed strong and loved learning new things. There seemed to be nothing he could not master, from working on cars to teaching himself to play guitar. He became a talented artist and made gifts and portraits for his family. He kept his faith and the Virgin of Guadalupe close to his heart.

Survivors include his mother, of Casa Grande; his father, of Eloy; a sister, Anastassia M. Cruz of Florence; and a brother, Sergio Cruz of Casa Grande.

Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande, with rosary recited at 10 and funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
