Jose Ignacio Duran, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 23rd, 2024 at his home in Casa Grande surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on November 30, 1947 in Hidalgo, Sonora, Mex
Jose loved spending time with his pug Fiffi, sharing stories with his family, and watching his favorite sport, baseball. Jose loved being out in nature, taking in fresh air and peaceful environment. Jose loved to reflect on lessons he learned in life with his grandchildren offering them guidance to live to their fullest potential.
He is survived by his wife Flora; son, Cesar Martinez; step daughter, Miriam; granddaughter, Aubrey (Bolita) Martinez; grandsons, Cesar Martinez, Rene Alcantar, & Neal Smith; mother of his grandchildren, Pearl Alcantar; sister, Carmen of Mexico; brother, Manuel; and numerous other family members. Preceded in death by his parents, Juan Grijalva and Maria Duran; sister, Esmerita and beloved dog, Fiffi.
Scripture prayer service will be held on Wednesday October 30th, 2024 11:00a.m at J Warren Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, 525 N Peart Road, Casa Grande. Visitation to follow from 11:30a.m - 2:00p.m
