Jose G. Mayoral

Jose G. Mayoral, 85, of Eloy died Dec. 12, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.


Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Burial was in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Mayoral was born in Mexico and was a son of Ygnacio and Maria Godinez. He was a laborer. He loved animals, gardening and fishing and also enjoyed going to beaches. He was a member of St. Helen's Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ygnacia; a daughter, Mary Mora of Eloy; a sister, Carmen Hernandez of Mexico; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ygnacio Godinez.
