COOLIDGE - Josefina "Josie" Montijo Rojas, 75, of Coolidge died on June 13, 2016, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.
Ms. Rojas was born on Feb. 13, 1941, in Coolidge and was a daughter of Manuel and Margarita Montijo. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She loved dancing, going on rides and listening to music and was well-liked and always the life of the party.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Garcia, Greg M. Ruiz and Eusebio Rojas, all of Coolidge; three daughters, Fidela Vasquez and Mary Ann Montijo of Coolidge and Mary Alice Montijo of Casa Grande; 21 grandchildren; and 57 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Maryhelen and Betty Montijo; two brothers, Joe and Poncho Montijo; and her husband.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2, with Bill Heinle officiating.
