PICACHO — Joseph Adam "Joe" Cipale, 76, of Picacho died on Nov. 18, 2011, at home.
The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Victory Baptist Church in Casa Grande, with Pastor Terry Green officiating.
Mr. Cipale was born on Jan. 10, 1935, in Des Moines, Iowa, and was a son of Mary and Charles Cipale. He was a cabinet maker and carpenter and enjoyed his life surrounded by his family. He had accepted Christ into his life and looked forward every year to volunteering at Youth Haven Ranch in Picacho, building, repairing, assisting and maintaining the ranch for youths in a Christian atmosphere. He liked to help, teach and support anyone.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Shirley; two sons, Joseph M. Cipale of Vancouver, Wash., and David A. Tincombe of Tucson; four daughters, Jackie R. Quinby and Julie D. Messerer of Hoquiam, Wash., Kathryn R. Rowe of Loveland, Colo., and Sherry E. Weber of Tucson; a brother, Gary Cipale of Des Moines; five sisters, Josephine Sheehan of Des Moines, Anna Marie Harsh of Tucson, Margaret Murray of Indianola, Iowa, Marilyn Campero of Des Moines and Carolyn Hartley of Carlisle, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Angelo and Charles Cipale, and two sisters, Theresa Papiani and Rosemary McAninch.
