Joseph F. Havier

CHUICHU - Joseph F. Havier, 80, of ChuiChu died Sept. 20, 2008 at home.


Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church by the Rev. Ignatius DeGroot. The wake will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at the Havier home. Burial will be at sunrise Saturday in North ChuiChu Cemetery.

Mr. Havier was born in ChuiChu and was a son of Stephen and Helen Havier. He served in the Army and was a laborer. He was a member of St. Augustine Church and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.

Survivors include a daughter, Joycelin Matia of Casa Grande; two sisters, Amy Franko of San Xavier and Serena Havier of Tucson; and three granddaughters. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
