COOLIDGE - Joseph Neil Tate Sr., 44, of Coolidge died Jan. 31, 2009 in Casa Grande.
The funeral will be held at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel on Thursday at 10 a.m. Internment will be in Valley Memorial Park.
Mr. Tate loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed woodworking and worked for Pinal County as a carpenter for 20 years. He grew up in Arizona and was well respected in Casa Grande, Coolidge and Florence.
Survivors include his wife, Susanne Duarte; two sons and a daughter, Joseph N. Tate Jr. of Yuma, Travis A. Tate, serving with the Marine Corps in Iraq, and Gabriella M. Tate of Coolidge; his mother, Barbara Tate; two brothers, Fredie G. Tate of Coolidge and Bryon T. Tate of Coolidge; and a sister, Penny Peterson of Coolidge. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred A. Tate.
