Josephine A. Miguel

Josephine A. Miguel, 69, of Ventana died on January 10, 2023. Ms. Miguel was born in Stanfield on November 6, 1953, to Joe Miguel and Alice Cipriano. She loved listening to Traditional O’odham Songs, chicken scratch music and loved to dance in her younger years. She enjoyed doing puzzles and word search but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Miguel, siblings Willard, Elmer, Julie and Mary Miguel and Kathrine Pablo. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Clement, Hilda, and Francisco Miguel Sr. and seven grandchildren.

An all-night wake will be on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Miguel residence in Ventana village starting at 4 p.m. with mass at 6 p.m. Burial will follow on Saturday January 23, at 6 a.m., Ventana Cemetery, Tohono O'odham Nation.
