Josephine Gomez

Josephine Nava "Tia Josie" 82 was born to Juvencio and Manuela Nava on June 15,1938. Josefina was one of 23 children. She was a caring daughter, sister, tia, mother, Nana and friend. She enjoyed being with her family and her lifelong best friend Esther Vidal. She enjoyed family get togethers, cooking but most of all she enjoyed dancing. Josephine is survived by her 11 children. Antonia (Roy) Salcido of chandler, Hilda (Jorje) Granados of Maricopa, Carlos (Lamberta) Gomez of sacaton, Manuel (Rosie) Gomez of California, Laugro (Andrea) Gomez, Conrad Gomez, Linda (Conrado) Gil, Roy Gomez, JoAnne (David) Villarreal, Gracie and Jo Garcia all of Casa Grande; 44 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, many nephews and neices whom she loved to share time or a beer with. Josephine entered into eternal rest September 7, 2020. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Virginia, her husband Joe Garcia, three grandsons Roy Salcido Jr, Mario and Luis Gomez and her son Christopher Gomez. Josephine will be missed dearly by her children, many family members, friends who became family and many acquaintances.
