ELOY — Josephine H. Hinojosa, 60, of Eloy died on Feb. 5, 2013, at home, with family and friends by her side.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. A scripture service will follow at 11. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Hinojosa was born on Sept. 5, 1952, in Eloy. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and watching novellas. She also loved playing Tetris with her husband, listening to Spanish music, gossiping on the phone and playing Bingo scratcher tickets. She was a huge Diamondbacks fan.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Timoteo; three daughters, Margarita Hinojosa of Arizona City, Frances and Rosa Maria Hinojosa of Eloy; a son, Benito H. Hinojosa of Arizona City; three sisters, Carlotta Vasquez of New Mexico, Nellie Echevarria of Tucson and Lupe Legate of Eloy; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Emilia Hernandez; a son, Timoteo Hinojosa Jr.; two grandsons, Eric and Jorge Marcial; a sister, Gloria Hernandez; and a brother, Refugio Hernandez
