**In Loving Memory of Josie Hernandez**

Josie Hernandez, 48, of Maricopa, Arizona, left this world on September 4, 2024, surrounded by love. Born to Jose and Sylvia Gutierrez on December 18, 1979, she brought joy and light to everyone she encountered.

Josie had a spirit that was as vibrant and free as a butterfly, known for her adventurous heart and infectious laughter. Whether it was making her way to the casino for a night of fun or sharing a slice of pizza with friends, she embraced life with warmth and enthusiasm. Her passion for cooking filled her home with delightful aromas, creating unforgettable moments for family and friends alike. With a knack for making friends wherever she went, Josie never met a stranger; her welcoming nature and genuine smile drew everyone in.

Josie's legacy will live on through her beloved children: Jessica and Tobias Gutierrez of Maricopa, and Angela and Karina Alvarez of Tempe. She cherished her two grandchildren, her loving mother Sylvia Gutierrez, and her brother Jose Gutierrez Jr. Though she has been preceded in death by her father, Jose Gutierrez, and her sister, Sylvia M. Gutierrez, her spirit continues to thrive in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Josie's life will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, commencing with a 6:00 AM rosary followed by a 7:00 AM Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, followed by a burial at the Ak-Chin Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are being lovingly handled by J. Warren Funeral Services-Cole and Maud Gardens Chapel.

Though Josie may have left this earthly realm, her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to so many will forever be cherished and remembered.
