Josie Mary Romero

MARICOPA - Josie Mary Romero, 81, died on Feb. 13, 2019.

Mrs. Romero was born on Oct. 16, 1937, to Nicolas Bautista and Mary Arispe in Santa Rita, New Mexico. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and also reading, window shopping and walking.

Survivors include a daughter, Joann R. Lozano of Fresno, California; two siblings, Isabel Flores of Maricopa and Nick Bautista of Victorville, California; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; two sons, Joey and Richard Romero; and a sister, Mary Inez Corral.

Celebration of life at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, at Church of Christ in Maricopa.
