ELOY — Juan Castillo Jr., 79, of Eloy died Sept. 14, 2009 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11, with Pastor Eliu Ibarra officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Castillo was born June 25, 1930 in Harlingen, Texas, and was a son of Concepcion Lara and Juan Castillo Sr. He was a truck driver in the farming industry. He enjoyed walking, coffee, sweet bread and attending Abounding Love Worship Center in Casa Grande. He was known for his sense of humor.
Survivors include four daughters, Rosemary Ibarra, Adelita Castillo Minjares and Juanita Castillo, all of Eloy, and Esmeralda Castillo of Eleven Mile Corner; two sons, Juan Manuel Castillo and Hector Castillo of Texas; two sisters, Celia Verdin of Texas and Bertha Flores of Eloy; a brother, Arnulfo Castillo of Eloy; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert Castillo; a brother, Margarito Castillo; and three sisters, Guadalupe Rivera, Gloria Gamboa and Hortencia Torres.
