Juan "Chano" De Leon, 49, of Casa Grande died on January 9, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The celebration of
life there will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor Diego Galvan officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. De Leon was born on August 21, 1964, in El Paso, Texas. He was a roofer and enjoyed watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed playing softball with his team, the Salty Dogs. He lived the "oldies" way with slicked-back hair and creased shirt and
pants. He was a joker, liked listening to oldies music and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his parents Juan De Leon Sr. and Alicia De Leon of Casa Grande; three sons, Alexis and Daniel De Leon of Chandler and Dominic Guerrero of Mesa; five daughters, DeAnna De Leon of Casa Grande, Vanessa De Leon of Phoenix, Briana and Mariah Aldrette of Casa Grande and Serena De Leon of Las Cruces, NM; six brothers, Ruben Medina of Albuquerque, NM, Martin De Leon of Casa Grande, Adam De Leon of Denver, Juan De Leon Jr. of Casa Grande, Nat De Leon of San Antonio, Texas, and David De Leon of Phoenix; eight sisters,
Jessica Salazar, Eva Soto, Rebecca Garcia, Lisa Anderson, Patricia Ruiz and Yolanda Collie, all of Casa Grande, Janie Bracamonte of Las Cruces and Linda Anguamea of Eloy; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry De Leon, and a sister, Diana Ronquillo De Leon.
