Pastor Juan Humes who we affectionately knew, Whose love for the Lord eternally grew. His heart was filled with the Holy Spirit’s grace, Guiding us with love in every embrace.
A devoted husband, his love was clear, For his beloved wife Linda, he held her dear. In the church and in life, he’d never feign, A love so strong, it forever shall remain.
He never met a stranger, a friend to all, With open arms, he’d answer every call. A passion for food, especially ice cream’s delight, He’d savor each bite, day, and night.
He’d dance and shout for the Lord’s pure grace. An infectious spirit, lighting up the place. With a laugh that echoed, warm and bright. He brought joy to every soul in sight.
On the golf course, his spirit like an eagle would soar, In nature’s beauty, he’d explore and more. And at the movies, his laughter would chime, In every moment, he treasured time.
Generous and giving, his heart was pure, In sharing blessings, he’d always ensure. Though he’s now in Heaven, his spirit lives on, In the hearts of those he touched, there’s still work to be done. For the love he shared, and the faith he’d implore, Always remember Mark 11:22-24
He is survived by his beautiful wife, Linda; sister and brother-in-law, Gwenda and Ray White; and a host of family and close friends.
