Juan Joe White

AK-CHIN - Juan Jose White, 31, died on Sept. 4, 2018.

Mr. White was born on Oct. 31, 1986, in Phoenix to Damien White of Gila River and Angelita Lewis-White of Ak-Chin. Also known as "Buddy," "Bugie" and "Pudge," he was a loving, caring, funny and hardworking man with a nice smile and happy spirit.

He loved being around his family and friends and was a very giving person. When people came to his house, he would say "mi casa su casa."

Survivors include a brother, David White Sr. of Ak-Chin; three nephews; and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gloria White.

Funeral Mass celebrated at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, at St. Francis Catholic Mission. Burial at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, in Ak-Chin Cemetery.
