Juanita Jett

ELOY — Juanita Jett, 76, formerly of Arizona, died on April 30, 2010 in Texas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at White Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Church of Nazareth in Abernathy, Texas. Visitation also will be held from noon to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy. Interment will follow in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jett was born on Feb. 3, 1934 in Grandfield, Okla., to Everett and Ellie (Eubanks) Richard. She married J.C. Jett on Nov. 17, 1951 in Florence. She worked as a chef before retiring. She moved to Abernathy from Arizona in 1989. She was a member of a senior citizens group and Church of Nazareth.
Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Roach and Margaret Macias of Abernathy and Brenda Haulotte of Big Spring, Texas; three sons, Ronald and Donald Jett of Lubbock and Jimmy Jett of Tucson; a brother, Chuck Richard of Duncan; 24 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, Eugene and E.B. Richard; a sister, Edith Lantz; and a grandson, Richard D. Jett.
