Judith "Judy" Guiza Tree

CASA GRANDE - Judith "Judy" Guiza Tree, 69, of the Yerington Paiute Tribe died on July 8, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Mrs. Tree was born on Jan. 17, 1951, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Leonard and Lydia Guiza. In 1984, she moved to Casa Grande with her husband, who is from the Gila River Indian Community. They were happily married for 49 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with her one grandchild, who was the love of her life.

She had many friends and was known for her caring heart and willingness to help others. She established a successful day care center in her home, where she loved and cared for many different families over the years.

She is survived by her husband, James; her two daughters, Tearsa and Nikki Tree; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Annette Guiza; and a brother, Gregory Guiza.
