SANTAN - Julian B. Jose, 69, of Santan died on April 3, 2014, at Caring House in Sacaton.
Visitation will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Service Center, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission by Monsignor Richard Moyer. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Jose was born on Sept. 14, 1944, in Sacaton. He was a farmworker and was devoted to his family and friends. He loved music and playing his guitar. He was a longtime Matachina dancer and belonged to the Old Time Fiddlers. He loved watching sports, watching "The Andy Griffith Show" and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Reba Jose of Santan and Angela Jose of Bapchule; a sister, Kateri Nish of Chandler Heights; nine grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina, and a daughter, Marian Gomez.
