Julio Cruz

ELOY — Julio P. Cruz, 74, of Eloy died on July 19, 2012, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Julio Cruz Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Cruz was born on June 20, 1938, in Mexico and was a son of Rufina Zarate. He was an irrigator and attended Apostolic Assembly of Jesus in Casa Grande. He enjoyed walking every day and reading his Bible. He also enjoyed watching TV, especially comedies, family gatherings and cook-outs, and especially cruising with his friends and family.
Survivors include three sons, Julio F. Cruz Jr. of Eloy, Martin R. Cruz of Casa Grande and Julio Cruz-Luna of California; three daughters, Monica C. Talamantes of Alexandria, Va., Martina G. Arriola of Casa Grande and Melody C. Cruz of Phoenix; a brother; a sister; and 22 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Cruz.
