June Irene Isakson

June Irene Isakson, 84, of Casa Grande died March 27, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.


The funeral was Friday at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home in St. Paul, Minn., with Ed Rhodes officiating. Burial was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Bloomington, Minn.

Mrs. Isakson was born Dec. 15, 1923 in St. Paul and was a daughter of Frederick J. and Ruth Tetzlaff. She was known for her faith, strength, courage, wisdom, sense of humor and deep love for her family. She also loved her pets, Maggie, Zoey, Sami and Dolly. She formerly lived in St. Paul and Alexandria, Minn.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia I. Isakson of Casa Grande; three sons, Robert and Steven Isakson and Jeffrey Isaacson; a brother, John Tetzlaff; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden C., in 1993.

Memorial contributions are preferred.
