CHARCO 27 VILLAGE - Juras Joseph Antone, 50, of Charco 27 died May 27, 2009 in Tucson.


The wake will begin at 5 p.m. Monday in Santa Cruz Catholic Mission. The graveside service will be at 5 a.m. Tuesday in Charco 27 Cemetery.

Mr. Antone was born in Sacaton. He worked as a repairman and enjoyed cattle ranching and playing waila music on his drums. He formerly was a member of Tohono O'odham Pride, The Crew and J.L. Combo bands.

Survivors include a brother, Ronald Antone of Fort McDowell; two sisters, Annie Antone of Charco 27 and Nancy Antone of Gila Bend; two nephews; and a niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Irene Antone.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Mountain View Chapel & Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
