BLACKWATER - Justin Lewis Lopez, 68, died on June 17, 2014, in Florence.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the District 1 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Thursday in East Sacaton Cemetery, with Pastor John Davis officiating.
Mr. Lopez was born on June 29, 1945, in Casa Grande and was a son of Lester and Angelita Lopez. He was a farmworker and a hardworking man. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He enjoyed woodworking, making figurines and photo frames. He also was an artist and would paint his woodworking projects as well as doing paintings. He enjoyed gardening, dancing, singing, listening to oldies, yard sales and junk food.
Survivors include his wife, Dorene; two daughters, Jacqulin Licano of Coolidge and Justine Lopez of Sacate; two sons, Manuel Lopez of Casa Blanca and David Lopez of Blackwater; two sisters, Jeanette and Sara Lopez of Casa Blanca; a brother, John Lopez of Bapchule; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Ann Lopez; three sisters, Louise Beaty, Marjorie and Elizabeth Lopez; and four brothers, Raymond, Ignacio, Anthony and Roy Lopez.
J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
