CASA GRANDE - Kamella Pearl Fine, 90, of Vacaville, California, and formerly of Casa Grande, died at home on March 28, 2016.
Mrs. Fine was born on June 19, 1925, in Aplin, Arkansas, and was a daughter of Carl Wise and Elva Sanders. Along with her parents, grandparents and other relatives, she moved to Casa Grande in a Model T caravan in 1928. She met her future husband, Murry Fine, in January 1942, and they were married on April 15, 1942. They lived in Eloy until 1963, when they moved to Santa Cruz, California. She was a homemaker.
In 1998 they moved to Lake Havasu City, and she moved to Vacaville in 2014 to live with her daughter, Linda. She was a devout member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed attending church and serving God in any way she could. She loved gardening, growing flowers, fruit and vegetables.
Survivors include a son, Richard Fine of Bullhead City; a daughter, Linda Tarantino of Vacaville; three brothers, Walter Wise of Casa Grande, Doyle Wise of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Jim Wise of Hereford; three sisters, Flora Doster, Jane West of Fairfield, California, and Mary Pitcher of Anchorage, Alaska; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.
