Karen Jean Bravo, 71, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 28, 2012, at Deborah's House care home.
A private service will be held later in California.
Mrs. Bravo was born on May 3, 1941, in Pasadena, Calif., and was a daughter of Henry Pohlman and Mary Foster. She was an occupational therapist, a Christian and a member of Mensa International. She was an artist who incorporated art in helping her patients learn again. She loved animals and trained horses and dogs, going to many shows. Later in life she was wheelchair bound, but that did not stop her from traveling and continuing with her life.
Survivors include two daughters, Ellen R. Bravo of Maricopa and Catalina Bravo of San Jose, Calif.; a son, Christopher Bravo of Porterville, Calif.; and a brother, Keith Pohlman of Chino, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus.
