CASA BLANCA - Karen Marlene Fleming, 75, of West Casa Blanca died on Jan. 1, 2020, at home.

Ms. Fleming was born on June 14, 1944, in Sacaton and was a daughter of the Rev. Clinton R. Rivers Sr. and Catherine Hugo Rivers. She was a housekeeper and nurse’s aide and enjoyed music, singing, reading and spending time with family and friends. She worshipped at Praise Fellowship Church in Sacaton Flats.

Survivors include a brother, David L. Rivers Sr. of Tucson; a sister, Sharon James of Goodyear; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton R. Rivers Jr.; a son, Aaron L. Rivers Sr.; and two daughters, Karmella D. Rivers and Karla M. Rodriguez.

Visitation from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Christ Assembly Church in Casa Grande, with service at 9 and the Rev. Garvin Jones officiating. Burial in East Sacaton Cemetery, with Pastor Raymond Garcia officiating.
